Rako Lighting Controls
The Rako lighting control system can be used throughout any home in living rooms, dining rooms, bedrooms, home theatres, halls, landings and even garden lighting. The equipment has been designed for ease of installation without the need for complete re-wiring. Because the system uses coded FM radio, control wiring is not required allowing push button controls to be mounted anywhere with out the need for expensive and disruptive building work.Interfacing with audio visual and other auxiliary systems is made easy with Rako's range of accessories.

The system has fully programmable scene-set capability allowing different mood lighting to be selected at the push of a button. With a smooth cross fading between scenes true elegance is achieved. Below we have shown a typical lighting layout for a living/dining room. The scheme indicates how it is currently likely to be wired. On the second schematic we show how the Rako system can be implemented easily into the existing wiring with the minimum of disruption.

One 7 button 4 Scene plus off with manual raise lower was used RCP07-C with a RPP07-SS brushed stainless steel cover plate to match the interior decor.
This replaces and the existing switch plate and can be fitted over the single gang back box. The existing switch line wiring is simply by-passed.
The System now controls all the lighting giving 4 preset scenes plus off with a manual raise lower override. You can also use the RAH07 hand held RF controller which mimics the controls on the wall plate from the comfort of your chair.
