We were asked to provide a bespoke cinema for hotel guests to go relax and enjoy a film and a cocktail, and to also provide an audio system for music to be played around the hotel.
Within the restaurant, bar, spa and communal areas we used Ecler for the audio distribution system where music can be selected from a local Bluetooth device or a connected source.
With the cinema design we used Control4 and Triad speakers due to their exceptional sound quality and control for cinema rooms, with an Epsom laser projector and complimented with a Grandview screen.
Gara Rock is a chic coastal retreat on the South West Coast Path, nestled in the hillside.
What started life as a coastguard station in 1842 became a hotel in 1909, and its popularity soared from the 1930s. Gara finally reopened as a family hotel again in 1946 but after a period of decline, Gara Rock was closed and demolished and rebuilt in 2008 and then taken over by new management two years ago who have invested significantly to elevate the hotel to new heights.
